We’re seeking dedicated volunteers who love our Finish The Ride and Run events and want to help make them even more amazing.
Finish The Ride and Run Griffith Park is coming up on 31 May and 1 June 2025. We have big plans to take this event to the next level, but we need your help.
We are looking for volunteers who want to step up as part of the FTR GP Planning Committee.

Submit Public Comments to Support L.A. River Phase IV Bikeway extension
Support the LA River Phase IV Bikeway Project by submitting public comments!
The City of Los Angeles is proposing to upgrade an existing maintenance road into a new section of the Los Angeles River Bikeway.
The Project would extend the Los Angeles River Bikeway by approximately one mile from its current western terminus near Riverside Drive and would provide new equestrian trail facilities near the Los Angeles Equestrian Center.

12th Annual Finish The Run Griffith Park
Finish the Ride was started 12 years ago by Damian Kevitt in the spirit of courage and determination to overcome tragedy despite insurmountable odds, following him losing his leg to a hit-and-run crime.
Soon after the first Finish The Ride, Finish The Run was born.
It is a movement, which has been heard around the world, to stop the epidemic of traffic violence and make the streets safer for all road users.
featuring a 1K Kids & Puppy Run, 5K & 10K Walk/Run, and a Half Marathon Trail Run. Runners and walkers of all levels join to support safer streets and active communities while enjoying Griffith Park’s scenic routes.
Top it all off with an expo at our wonderful end event venue at the Autry Museum of the American West.

Join your fellow cyclists to enjoy the beautiful scenery and back roads of Griffith Park. Our rides take you on a journey through the park and surrounding areas with 5 ride lengths from 12 to 62miles.
Top it all off with an expo at our wonderful end event venue at the Autry Museum of the American West.

Join us for a fabulous day of running, riding, rolling or walking all in support of safer roads across California!

Orange Line Bike Path Grading and Group Ride
Come out with Streets Are For Everyone on a group ride to grade the Orange Line Bike Path for accessibility and usability.
Results will be assembled into a report that will hold government agencies accountable for maintaining the path. Hope to see you there!

Speakers Damian Kevitt, Executive Director at Streets Are for Everyone, and Ross Pringle, Instructor at Pomona College, and Communications Director at Claremont Streets for People, will describe the types of e-bikes, how these differ from electric motorcycles, and sensible public policies to take advantage of the e-bike revolution.

Voice your Support for Forest Lawn Drive Active Transportation and Traffic Safety Project
Tell the Mayor of Los Angeles and LA DOT that you want active transportation and safety improvements to Forest Lawn Drive as part of the planned repaving.
LA DOT plans to repave and implement safety measures, such as traffic calming, improved bicycle infrastructure, etc., along just over one mile of Forest Lawn Drive. The details of these improvements can be seen using this link: https://ladotlivablestreets.org/projects/forest-lawn

SAFE and allied organizations across Southern California invite you to join us in observing the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims—a global event held every third Sunday of November.
This day is dedicated to honoring those who have lost their lives or been impacted by roadway crashes.
746 lives were lost and tens of thousands were injured in LA County in 2023 alone. Together, we gather to honor their memory, raise awareness, and work towards safer streets.
