The Future of E-Bikes: A lecture by Harvey Mudd College

Electric bicycles have exploded onto the scene as one of the most popular new forms of transportation. E-bikes increase mobility options, alleviate traffic congestion, enhance public health and reduce carbon emissions.

They are also the subject of controversy and misunderstanding as citizens and governments struggle to identify appropriate regulations to ensure their safe use.

Speakers:

  • Damian Kevitt Executive Director at Streets Are for Everyone

  • Ross Pringle Instructor at Pomona College, and Communications Director at Claremont Streets for People.

Damian and Ross will discuss the types of e-bikes, how these differ from electric motorcycles, and sensible public policies to take advantage of the e-bike revolution.

This lecture will be also be live streamed and recorded to be viewed anytime: HERE
