Honor and Remember:
Join Us for World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims
SAFE, in collaboration with Los Angeles Walks, Street Racing Kills, SoCal Families For SAFE Streets, Bike LA and many other allied organizations across Southern California, invite you to join us in observing the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims—a global event held every third Sunday of November.
This day is dedicated to honoring those who have lost their lives or been impacted by roadway crashes.
746 lives were lost and tens of thousands were injured in LA County in 2023 alone. Together, we gather to honor their memory, raise awareness, and work towards safer streets.
The day will feature a reflective pop-up art installation to remember those lost and a series of grounding and healing activities.
We welcome volunteer support to help make this day impactful, especially during the press conference.
