🕒 Time: Multiple shifts available from 9am through 8pm.

What is Streets, Art, SAFE?

Traffic violence is the leading cause of death for United States teens (13-19).

Streets, Art, SAFE is a fun and creative program that educates high school students about traffic safety through the arts - film, posters, and visual storytelling.

How Can I Help?

We invite you to join us in making the 2025 Streets, Art, SAFE annual awards ceremony an unforgettable day for hundreds of student artists and filmmakers!

This is a celebration honoring creativity, youth voices, and traffic safety advocacy — and we need your help to bring it all to life!

Whether you're great at greeting guests, love capturing moments behind the camera, or just want to lend a hand where it's needed most, we have a spot for you!

Volunteer Shifts & Roles:

🌞 Morning Setup Crew (9:00 AM – 12:30 PM)

1. Help set up signage, exhibits, info tables, and more before the event kicks off.

🎪 Event Support (12:30 PM – 3:00 PM)

1. Greet and check in guests

2. Help with refreshment stations

3. Assist with studio tours for students

4. Support at our SAFE booth

5. Capture event moments with photography/videography

6. Help with logistics for the event

🏆 Ceremony Crew (3:00 PM – 5:00 PM)

1. Usher guests to their seats

2. Assist with tech and visuals

3. Set up signage for winning posters

4. Prepare reception area for post-ceremony buffet dinner

5. Capture photos and/or video

🍲 Reception Support (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

1. Monitor and restock food buffet

2. Invite guests to fill out surveys

3. Help conduct short video interviews

4. Keep the good vibes going!

⚙️ Evening Breakdown (7:00 PM – 8:00 PM)

1. Help pack down, load up, and leave the space even better than we found it.
