We’re gearing up for another awesome Clean Ride Crew event this September, and we need your help to make it a success.
Join SAFE and the Mar Vista Community Council as we work together to keep our bike paths safe and clean for everyone.
This month we'll be working on Venice Blvd!
📅 Date/Time: Saturday, September 21, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM
📍 Meet Location: Alana's Coffee Roasters, 12511 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90066
What You’ll Be Doing:
Trimming trees along designated bike paths
Scooping up debris and garbage
Sweeping bike lanes
Reporting more serious issues like cracks and potholes to city officials
Afterward Join us for our monthly volunteer meetup for food, drinks, music, and good company
Tools and snacks will be provided, but we encourage you to bring brooms, clippers, or any other gear you think may be helpful. Pro-tip: work/gardening gloves are a good idea!
Since Clean Ride Crew started last year, we have cleaned up thousands of pounds of trash and tens of miles of bike paths. We have also successfully gotten scores of hazards fixed or removed.
