Make Griffith Park Safer for All Users! #ToNotThroughGriffithPark
The non-profit street-safety organization, Streets Are For Everyone (SAFE), is demanding that the City of Los Angeles and specifically the Department of Recs and Parks return Griffith Park to the community - making it safe for the people who use it the most, not the speeding cars who use it as a cut-through. Please phase out private cars traveling through Griffith Park (excluding Park Rangers and public shuttles).

SAFE did not slow down this year, and our team is very proud of what we produced in 2021! Through our advocacy efforts, awareness events, media, legislative efforts, and other activities, SAFE reached over 16 million nationwide with the message of making safer streets! Our 2021 Year in Review highlights just some of our best accomplishments.
End of the Year Spotlight
We want to give a massive shout-out to our volunteers who help us keep our doors open and all of our programming and actions going throughout the year. Now that the year is coming to a close, we want to highlight two volunteers who consistently go above and beyond what they are asked to do. Please meet Karl Eggers and Pastor Patricia Strong-Fargas. Both of them are champion volunteers that are ready to go at any time and are always looking for ways of improving their communities.
Ending Unfair and Discriminatory Pricing in California’s Auto Insurance Market
