Thanks to Our “Partners in Grime” for Helping Clean Up LA!

I wanted to extend a huge, heartfelt thank you for the work everyone did last weekend, Jan. 18 and Jan. 19, for our first edition of “Let’s Clean LA.” Together, 55 of us cleared 3,515 pounds of trash — nearly two tons of waste, leaves, sticks, and junk strewn across our streets is now gone, helping all road users travel more safely.

The first weekend of Let’s Clean LA, BMX Goonies, LA Walks, Bicycle Transit Systems, Bikerowave, and The Bike Oven all helped organize groups across LA: stretches of Wilmington Park, Balboa Park, Lincoln Heights, and Venice Blvd. all ride a little easier this week after the hard work of our clean-up crews.

Thank you to all the organizations for their work promoting, organizing, and, most importantly, cleaning up! At SAFE, we believe in the power of community action, and you all showed just how powerful our communities are when we band together for a worthy cause.

We invite every Angeleno to join us in making our streets and neighborhoods shine again. We have more upcoming “Let’s Clean LA” events, including a South LA clean-up with MOVE LA on Feb. 1 and a MacArthur Park Clean-Up with the Pico Union Neighborhood Council on Feb. 22

Let's continue to make LA shine and take back our communities from the trash and debris.

💪🧹 LET'S CLEAN LA!! 🧤🌟
